20/02/08 - SPIRIT OF LEXUS LAUNCH On Wednesday the 20th of February, friends of Lexus of Adelaide and Austral Yachts gathered at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron at Outer Harbour to celebrate the launch of the Spirit of Lexus Yacht. Managing Director of Austral Yachts, Michael Keough, and Managing Director of the CMV Group, Paul Crawford, spoke to guests at the launch of the 42 foot Farrow designed Spirit of Lexus. After the christening of the yacht with champagne, guests were given the opportunity to board the yacht and see first hand the fine craftsmanship of the yacht that has been built to international race standards. The launch signalled the start of the maiden voyage for the Spirit of Lexus, which entered in the 2008 Lexus of Adelaide Blue Water Classic - between Adelaide and Port Lincoln.  |
