Lexus Melbourne CupTour 2019
Following an amazing inaugural year as naming rights sponsor, the Lexus Melbourne Cup once again toured the country in the lead up to this year’s event and made a special stop at Lexus of Adelaide for an exclusive, invite only event for our valued Lexus of Adelaide clients.
It was fantastic to see so many of our clients join us again for this year’s event and also many of our newest clients, some of whom were experiencing Lexus of Adelaide ownership difference for the first time.
Our guests were welcomed with flowing glasses of delicious Pol Roger, stunning grazing tables and mood setting tunes from DJ Tim Bos who also impressed on the saxophone.
Whilst surrounded by the luxurious Lexus range, our guests took the exclusive opportunity to have their photo taken whilst holding the Lexus Melbourne Cup, worth $200,000.
The formalities of the evening included welcoming Joe McGrath from the Victorian Racing Club and Sheila Laxon, who was the first female thoroughbred horse trainer to win the Australian Cups double – the Caufield Cup and Melbourne Cup. Their discussion was extremely interesting, and it was fantastic to discover more about Sheila’s amazing career and achievements in the racing industry.
