Perfect conditions greeted our Lexus Encore members for the first of two Lexus of Adelaide Golf Days for 2022 at the stunning Royal Adelaide Golf Club.

Not only were our team excited to see many new and familiar faces, we were proud to display the all-new UX 300e, Lexus’ first all-electric vehicle, and the all-new NX which had only arrived at the dealership the week before the event! It’s safe to say everyone was very interested in seeing these two impressive SUVs.
While our golf enthusiasts took on the challenging 18 hole course, those who weren’t quite ready for the challenge enjoyed beginner lessons to learn the perfect putting and chipping technique from the local Golf Pros.

Our charity hole once again raised vital funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation with over $1,500 raised thanks to everyone’s contributions. Unfortunately, no one was able to hit a hole in one, so the Lexus UX was not won – hopefully next time we’ll have a lucky winner!
Once everyone had finished their round or lessons, guests joined us in the dining area to enjoy a delicious lunch, the chance to debrief about their day and of course, find out who the winners were!

Our third placed team started slowly with a bogey on their very first hole, but that was quickly followed by four birdies until the bogeys started to return and they had to settle for third place with nett 59.25. Well played, Brenton Parker, Geoffrey Webster, Isabella Jeffrey-Potts and Zhigang Wu.
The runners up were just 0.25 of a shot better with nett 59, but again, didn't have it all their way. In fact, they weren't even threatening the leaderboard until they had four birdies in their final six holes! Well done Ben Sapwell, Justin Ayris, Shane Gill and Nat Oliveri.
The winners had a fairly stress free round, with four birdies and just one bogey on the tough 14th hole. In the end, they were able to take out the overall winners prize by just 0.38 of a shot with nett 58.62. Congratulations Philp Zubrinich, Debra Zubrinich, Keith Michelmore and Ann Michelmore.

The opportunity to go to this year’s Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and the room was a buzz with excitement as to who the winner would be! Congratulations to Yongsheng Lin who will have the opportunity to enjoy this incredible experience and attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
