Adelaide CabaretFestival 2022
Lexus of Adelaide have been the proud Official Vehicle Partner of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival since 2013, and this year the festival was certainly one to remember with an array of colour, incredible performances and music.
This year, the world’s largest cabaret festival featured 32 shows and 86 performances over 12 incredible days and nights with almost 40,000 attendances across six venues, including the newly renovated Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Famous Spiegeltent, located on Festival Plaza.

We were thrilled to offer our valued Lexus Encore clients the chance to experience shows such as Marcia Hines’ ‘The Gospel According the Marcia’, Cirque Bon Bon and this year’s Artistic Director, Tina Arena’s ‘Songs my Mother Taught Me’.
As a special surprise, our guests who were attending Tina Arena’s show were treated to a special meet and greet in the theatre before her amazing performance, as well as delicious food and drinks before taking their seats.
As the Official Vehicle Partner of this year’s festival, artists were transported to and from their venues in a range of luxurious Lexus vehicles, including the all-new NX and it was great to see the eye catching Lexus UX in the stunning new Festival Plaza for all to enjoy.

An exciting announcement about next year’s Artistic Director will be made in November and will coincide with Adelaide Festival Centre’s 50th Anniversary, which will be celebrated during Adelaide Cabaret Festival in June next year.
Adelaide Festival Centre CEO & Artistic Director Douglas Gautier AM says, “Adelaide Cabaret Festival has been the highlight of South Australia’s winter arts scene for 22 years and we look forward to celebrating with gusto next year as we mark Adelaide Festival Centre’s 50th Birthday!”
Produced and presented by Adelaide Festival Centre, Adelaide Cabaret Festival has grown from modest beginnings in 2001 to become Australia’s major winter festival and the largest cabaret festival in the world. We can’t wait to see what next year’s festival will bring!
