Celebrating its 26th year in 2026, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival continues to shine as the world’s largest cabaret festival and a standout event on both the Australian and international arts calendar. Showcasing an extraordinary mix of classic and contemporary performances, the festival brings together an eclectic lineup of local, national and international artists, delivering an unforgettable winter experience in the heart of Adelaide.

This year’s festival welcomed acclaimed performer Reuben Kaye as Artistic Director, whose bold creativity and sharp wit shaped a vibrant 2026 program celebrating both emerging talent and celebrated cabaret icons. Festival venues, including the Festival Theatre and the Dunstan Playhouse, came alive with captivating performances, immersive storytelling and unforgettable musical moments.

Throughout the festival, Lexus of Adelaide also hosted a select number Lexus Encore members within the striking Lexus Lounge. Defined by moody red lighting and sculptural design, the space reflected the unapologetic spirit of this year’s program, offering an atmosphere of understated luxury with a contemporary edge. Guests enjoyed pre-show drinks and canapés before attending a curated selection of performances, elevating their festival experience.
Highlights included Lime Cordiale’s collaboration with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, a cinematic and immersive fusion of indie-pop and orchestral sound; Mahalia Barnes Sings The Rose, a soulful and electrifying tribute delivered with powerhouse vocals; and Casey Donovan: This Is Me - The Amy Winehouse Special, a dynamic and deeply moving performance that brought a fresh perspective to an iconic catalogue - all enjoyed by Lexus of Adelaide Encore members as invited guests.
Artists once again travelled in luxury Lexus vehicles, arriving in style for performances and red-carpet events, reflecting a shared commitment to exceptional experiences. Guests further enhanced their evenings with premium hospitality offerings and vibrant late-night entertainment, ensuring every moment was indulgent and memorable.
