For the first South Australian Lexus Encore Sessions, our valued guests were invited to join us at Memphis Slim’s House of Blues to hear one of Australia’s best voices in soul and blues music, whilst enjoying a four-course dinner inspired by the home of the blues, the American south.
Guests were treated to an intimate evening of songs and stories from Josh Teskey, the magnetic front-man of the Teskey Brothers.

Playing his biggest hits as well as the blues covers that inspired them, Josh’s talent was phenomenal and it was an incredible journey through the world of the blues.
To compliment the soulful tunes, Southern-style cooking of fine American comfort food was carefully curated by the team at Bread & Bone.

A selection of smoked meats, oysters and bacon crumbed mac and cheese were extremely indulgent and perfectly matched with a selection of bourbons and whiskeys from America’s south, as well as a delicious range of contemporary wines.
Following his performance, Josh took the opportunity to mingle and sit with our guests, as well as pose for photographs.
It was an incredible evening of stories, songs and soul food – thank you to the Lexus Encore members who joined us for such a wonderful and intimate experience.
