The Lexus of Adelaide team have been proud to offer our valued Lexus Encore customers the chance to be a part of the lead up to the race that stops a nation since 2018. This year’s Lexus of Adelaide Melbourne Cup Tour Experience saw many new and familiar faces join us for a fantastic night with delicious food, drink and music.
The upper level of our dealership was transformed into a stunning event space where guests could relax and enjoy delicious free-flowing G.H. Mumm Champagne, delectable food from Indulgence Food Design and amazing tunes from the talented Lesley Williams.

This year’s event was elevated to a new level with our interactive food display which included a charcuterie station that featured a delicious array of cured meats and picked vegetables, plus a stunning display of raclette which had everyone’s mouths watering.
The 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour will see the iconic Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy travel to 39 destinations, with the final route spanning six countries including Australia, Japan, USA, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland.

Our guests took great delight in having the opportunity to hold the 18-carat-gold 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup, valued at $750,000 and have a special photo taken in front of the stunning Lexus of Adelaide Melbourne Cup Experience backdrop.
To begin the night’s formalities, Lexus of Adelaide General Manager, Wade Sander, took to the stage to welcome everyone and thank them for being a part of the Lexus of Adelaide family. He also took the opportunity to give everyone an update on the latest news from Lexus, including the recent launch of the wildly refined Lexus GX and the impressive Lexus LBX.

Wade then had the pleasure of introducing VRC Representative, Trent Luckhurst and our special guest Dual Lexus Melbourne Cup-winning jockey (2009 and 2017) and Lexus Ambassador, Corey Brown to the stage for an amazing Q&A.
Corey shared some incredible stories about his career in racing, his wins and losses and his life after a career ending injury. Our guests reveled in hearing Cory’s remarkable stories and also took the opportunity to have quick photo with him and the Cup following the formalities.
Guests were also presented with a special Lexus Melbourne Cup pin to wear on the night which helps to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
