The team of riders, most of whom had been touched by cancer, travelled more than 400kms through South Australia’s amazing and picturesque wine regions – Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale – over three days.
The final day saw the pelotons ride 130kms into Lloyd Brothers Wine & Olive Company in McLaren Vale where they discovered that thanks to their efforts, nearly $500,000 had been raised for cancer research, support and prevention. What an amazing and inspiring tour!
The achievements of the team and the money raised for cancer research would not have been possible without the support of amazing sponsors including: Lexus of Adelaide, the CMV Group, South Cross Protection, Drakes, Westpac and Collins Transport.
